BHN Association has recently created an Emergency Response Team (ERT) When an offshore disaster should occur on a large scale, we will send the team without losing time to the affected areas. The team, upon arriving in catastrophe sites, will make a survey as to what type of relief projects utilizing our specialty of ICT are feasible for us to implement for the benefit of the  disaster victims.  Besides the research activities, the team will offer family link service, utilizing cellular- and/or satellite-phone, to disaster survivors who are anxious to try to communicate with their family members  un-contacted yet by any possible means available. The activities of ERT is financed by   ERT Fund,  created with generous contributions of corporate members (NTT Group etc.).
